Build in Public University · first head

Guy is going to learn maths with AI.

A diagnostic-first course scaffold for @nosilverv, built from one local capture of public posts. No guessed grade. No synthetic certainty. Just the next exercise.

The first move is a diagnostic

The capture supports interest in AI tutoring, logic, uncertainty, and learning by seeing an area from different angles. It does not establish algebra fluency, calculus readiness, or a school-equivalent level.

  1. Solve 3(2x - 5) = 21 and show every reversible move.
  2. Roll a fair die twice. What is the probability that the sum is 7?
  3. If P(A)=0.4 and P(B)=0.5 are independent, calculate P(A and B).
  4. Translate a short implication into symbols and name the logical rule.
  5. Explain what P(Q | P, P→Q) is trying to condition on.

The tutor records the answer, working, confidence, hint level, and the next falsifying exercise. A correct answer without transfer is not the finish line.

Provisional route

01 · Algebra
Equality as reversible transformation.
02 · Functions
Tables, graphs, formulas, slope.
03 · Logic
Implication, validity, counterexamples.
04 · Probability
Conditioning, independence, Bayes.
05 · Statistics
Noise, samples, correlation, causality.
06 · Calculus
Local change and accumulation.

The repository contains a derived public-post corpus and its receipt. The original local dump is not published. Archive text proves that a post appeared in the preserved export at capture time; it does not prove the underlying claim, a complete timeline, or Guy's mathematical ability.
